Oil Field Incident Work Injury

Our client’s son, an oil field worker, was rigging down a derrick. The defendant had incompetent and untrained rigor and crane operators removing a 10,000 lbs. roll bar off the derrick, unsupervised. These inexperienced crane operators improperly rigged the roll bar and as the decedent (our client’s son) was removing bolt, the bar slipped, swung around, and impacted his head, where he fell to his death.
